Stellar late night vegan spot with the right vibes to welcome anyone. Absolutely loved this place as I was on my way to the airport for my so-early-it's-actually-late flight. The fried chicken is almost a little too real (the skin surprised me!), but it's so delicious. Also loved the mac and cheese.
Holy moly this place was GAS. The fried shrimp was stupendous! The chicken breast had an amazing texture and spice. Mashed potatoes were scrumptious with a familiar taste.
I cannot believe I had never heard of this place before. This is AUTHENTIC vegan comfort food. The variety is crazy, pumpkin spice milkshakes, jalepeño bites, Mac and cheese, the list goes on and on. And YES everything is vegan. The vibe inside is oldschool too. This feels like a true retro fast food spot, with everything happening to be vegan.
Very good ham and cheese croissant. Try their secret grilled cheese if you get a chance. I have met with Chef Doomie, he and Sarah are very cool hosts. They all work hard. Good to have vegan options around. Their fried chicken is the best.
